Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudra Padhuka Abhishekam

We at Namba Periyava Kovil have been conducting Mahanyasa Poorvaka Ekadasa Rudra Abhishekam every month to Sri Utsavar Periyava & Sri Padhuka Periyava since 2014.

Starting with Guru Vandhanam, Swasthi Vachanam, ritwiks chant Mahanyasam followed by Rudra Parayanam. Ekadasa Rudra Parayanam is the chanting of Sri Rudram eleven times. All eleven sections of Namakam are chanted followed by the first of the eleven sections of Chamakam. This pattern is repeated 11 times with each of the other 11 sections of Chamakam.
